As I'm not much of a fan of watching anime series on a weekly basis save for some shows, I usually find myself re-visiting or watching older anime series. It can be an anime from the previous season or the previous year or the previous decade. Even with all the improvements in the current animations … Continue reading 「 Ashita no Nadja 」Dances, Nobles, and Love

Mei’s List | 2019 Anime Adaptation On My List
Around the end of 2018, I was overwhelmed when I realized how many anime adaptations of the series that I like are coming this 2019. Part 2 of my personal update. More about random more happy things. Anime My escape from all the heavy feelings was our home and anime, manga, and drama series. All Eyes On — Soo-Won
Those who have read my previous posts as well as old tweets may have known that I love Kusanagi Mizuho's series Akatsuki no Yona (The Girl Standing in the Blush of Dawn) so much. I love how it's a great historical fantasy/romance! It's one of those series with well-written characters and intriguing plot. I love … Continue reading All Eyes On — Soo-Won
Mei’s List | Favorite Anime Moms
Mothers' Day passed by but I wasn't able to whip up some post quickly so here's a late one for it. Mothers never cease to amaze me -- at least most of them -- because of how much hardships they bear just for their family. They're strong and capable, willing to sacrifice a lot -- … Continue reading Mei’s List | Favorite Anime Moms
Status: Looking Forward to These This Spring 2018
Winter 2018 ended and I still haven't finished the ones I started. There are some I haven't even started yet. But I am not really that dedicated of a seasonal viewer in the first place. So, those which I wasn't able to watch last season, I may only be able to watch this spring, or … Continue reading Status: Looking Forward to These This Spring 2018
Tea Time with: Ameithyst
I got to experience having a collaboration for the first time with The Pantless Anime Blogger! Thank you so much for this opportunity!
I really had fun talking about one of the most enjoyable J-movie that I watched. It’s also amazing how patient TPAB is, too, because I’m really bad at replying to people’s texts or chats, you know. (It’s better when one talks to me in person I guess.) But TPAB never got angry or something. Or at least he didn’t tell me he’s calling off this collab so… I’m glad? Hahaha!
Anyway, it’s a memorable experience. I hope you guys will be able to check out Wood Job ~ Easy Life in Kamusari some time!
It’s the end of the month, and it’s time for tea once again. For this month, I invited Ameithyst from Treasure Box for some tea. She talks about a lot of Japanese live action movies and series over at her blog. Since she’s knowledgeable on the topic, I figured I’d ask for her favorite movie. I have zero experience with anything live action, so I think this tea time collab is a good place to start as well. Ameithyst chose Wood Job – The Easy Life in Kamusari for her pick. It’s a 2014 movie about forestry, for the most part. Let’s read on.

Mei’s List | A Couple of Loveable Pairings
February is finally drawing to a close. It feels so fast, what with it being only 28 days! To celebrate, I decided to compile a non-exhaustive list of anime/manga series with some of my beloved pairings. (Most of these are officially canon!) These are some of the sweetest pairs I’ve known ever since watching/reading anime/manga. … Continue reading Mei’s List | A Couple of Loveable Pairings
